Unfortunately for himself, he has no idea of organisation; if only he had, he could easily have beaten the dingo. The result has been that the " devil," though individually a very much braver animal than his enemy, the dingo, was vanquished by the latter, who somehow came to realise the value of organisation. There may have been some other force at work, but the climate and the nature of the country in south-eastern.
