She boldly advanced, heeding not the spears thrown at her, although they were sticking in her boay everywhere. She had seized the young iban, and was making off with him again, when the great wizard of the tribe opportunely arrived ; and, giving magical power- toi the blow, thrust her through and through with his spear.
